When it comes to running a story on an ask blog, do you suggest planning it from start to finish before jumping into it? Or work on it as you go?
It depends! Most of the time, I would suggest planning it from start to finish (or at least planning out a skeleton of events). That way you can see everything as a whole, fix things that don’t work and fill in any plotholes before you start working on it. Also it will eliminate a lot of the stress that comes with trying to write a complicated story on the fly.
…Or you can do what I do, which is just make everything up as you go and change things last minute and add things where you weren’t going to and go on rabbit trails that last for months and OH GOD DON’T DO WHAT I DO PLAN IT IN ADVANCE
Alright, it depends on what you want to accomplish. Personally I like the freedom of making stuff up as I go along. It allows me to interact with people a lot more and keeps me interested and on my toes because whoops, even I don’t know what’s coming next.
…But it’s also kind of stressful because there’s no way to edit what you’ve done. You can’t go back and go “Oh crap I thought of something better / more poetic let me change that” when writing as you go, whereas if you wrote it all beforehand, you’d see all your mistakes and fix them first.
Aaahhhh hahahh this is exactly everything I make! Until yesterday, I didn’t know what Bonbon was late for in My-little-pokemon and I didn’t know how Pek would solve his killer joke problem in Hollow-shades.
Don’t do it like this! HAHAHAHAHAH.
Challenge her if you will, but don’t underestimate her.
I’m deleting all the non-story posts on this blog. Saving this one though because I worked hard on it. If you somehow liked any of the other ones, (haha fat chance) you can ask me and I’ll post ‘em again somewhere!
I’m rebooting My-Little-Pokemon today!
I was going to use this costume for nightmare night, but it was deemed “unacceptably horrifying” by event organizers.

guess where the background is!
Guess whose style!
Took like 1 minute for someone to get it right.
I love the style of LupisVulpes so I drew my own dog in their style to help me figure out what they’re doing that I need to be doing. :)
Pretty good, but real angry at the weather. It’s been clear skies for days and the clouds decide to show up just in time to block out the last 1/4 of the eclipse. I’ve never seen one. Never will as long as I live in Oregon.
Holy crap dude it's already been 2 years??
WAT, birthday?! Um. /panic Celebratory birthday hug! *Squeeze*... I hate birthdays, they make me feel guilty about never celebrating them.
It was back on the 27th of last month. But also, today is a different birthday of mine! Started drawing 2 years ago today!
